Lord Gsama Posted December 6, 2020 Share Posted December 6, 2020 It seems that Poweramp by default closes the pop-up window that shows a song's lyrics during playback whenever the user's screen turns off or the user switches apps. I am wondering if there is any way to make this menu stay open until the user tells it to close or if perhaps such a feature may be considered? Thanks for all the work and dedication that goes into Poweramp. It is definitely the best of the many similar apps I've tried and version 3 is a clear improvement over 2. andrewilley Posted December 6, 2020 Share Posted December 6, 2020 The temporary lyrics display should survive the screen going to sleep (either automatically or by pressing the power button) but not launching another app and then returning to PA. I know there are plans to upgrade lyrics support at some point in the future, and presumably the display method will be more advanced then anyway.
