Osiris
Hi all, I am about to upgrade from a 400 gb to 1TB SD card. I copied all my music over to the new card with the exact same file/folder structure. I also exported my playlists just in case. Is there anything else I need to do to ensure the switch works seamlessly or am I good to go from here? What's the process I need to follow as far as re-scans go? Thanks in advance for your help. andrewilley
You should get away with simply swapping the cards over and doing a Full Rescan. Playlists will still work as long as the folder structure on the card remains the same (may need to Rescan/Resolve them from the Playlist List Options menu). If you had previously manually selected a specific folder name for your files, using Settings > Library > Music Folders, then you may need to select the new folder as Android will have changed the root path name. You might also need to Grant Access permissions again for the root of the SD card if you have a recent version of Android. Andre Quote Translate Revert translation?
