Poweramp purchase isn't recognized on secondary device

After Google screwed over their customers by bailing on Google Play Music, I immediately jumped ship and moved to Poweramp on the recommendation of a friend. In comparison to GPM, it's got it's quirks to get used to but I think overall it's a better music player and certainly looks better. I ended up buying using my phone and then downloaded it on my car radio running Android 8 (it's an old OS, yeah, but it's compatible). But every time I launch Poweramp on my radio it requests that I buy it, which I've already done. So I select "Already Purchased" and then try to verify that purchase by downloading the Unlocker from the link in the app. But when the link in the app takes me to the Unlocker in the play store, it doesn't let me download it. It requires me to buy it again! How do I get around this? I'm not paying for the same app twice on the same Google account.

As long as your Android car radio is using the same Google account, and it has a live internet connection, you should be able to re-download the unlocker app once you have installed the main Poweramp Music Player (Trial) app. It will be visible in the Play Store menu > My Apps & Games > Library tab > Poweramp Full Version Unlocker (or via https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maxmpz.audioplayer.unlock, but it's often better to just find it in your library).

@andrewilley Good thought. I was just about to head out to my car to work on this and double check that both devices are on the same account (I only have the one account so I can't think of why they wouldn't be). I'll give that a try. If it works, great. If not, well, I'll be back here, likely.
