How do I set up Poweramp to enjoy a totally random play of my collection?

Too often the same music (without lists, without stars or other selections).

You can achieve this by going to the library, All Songs, hit play and then set to Shuffle All. There are other options too

You don't even need to be in All Songs category. In any of the normal playback categories, just tap that same Shuffle icon (on the right, under the cover artwork) so it shows Shuffle All Available Songs. The counter will change to 1/nnnn (i.e. first track of the total number of songs in your library).

You can move forward >> and << backward through the shuffled song list, but no songs will be repeated within that list. Of course if you do a re-shuffle - such by as changing category or shuffle mode, or manually starting a new song - PA will generate a whole new random shuffling of your library (the counter will go back to 1) which could well mean you hear some songs that you've recently heard in previous sessions, that's the nature of random.
