Gyro Control

Recommended Posts

One feature I like about my Foobar2000 Controller app that I use to controll my PC music when the screen is off is that you can shake the phone to skip to the next track (random if random playback is on)

Could some Gyro control be added  maybe like taps for different functions.
Its useful for the following scenario.
Walking down the streen with music on, someone tries to speak to you so you have to go to the pocket, unzip the pocket, pull out the phone, turn on and unlock the screen, press pause on the app... then say "WHAT?!" to the dude..

Much easier if i could just smack my pocket/phone with my fingers and it pause/resume!
2 smacks to skip track.

But it would have to be not so sensative that walking along causes activation (sensativity slider?)

Would be cool anyway IMO.
Thoughts on it? / good or bad idea?

Cheers

Interesting idea, if a shake feature were to be implemented maybe it could have a couple of optional actions - Play/Pause or Next Track. I think multi-smacks is just getting into phone abuse though, :)

By the way, why don't you have cable controls (or bluetooth controls) on your headset? That's what I use.

I use button controls for Play/Pause on tmy 3.5mm headphone cable (aftermarket) that I have connected to my "idle" Bluetooth headphones. I never use Bluetooth so just use them as regular headphones 😊
