bgh
How to adjust to have all on artist name. Is it any way to have just artist name and song name without album name in the list. Also, I am still on beta tester for last 5 or 6 months. Is it different to be on beta. This app is good but confusing in high level. andrewilley
Poweramp does not currently provide isolated versions of the Artist and Albumname text fields, so skins cannot display them separately either (either on the player screen or in lists). It's an automatic feature where, if the embedded metadata within an audio file doesn't contain a valid Track Number tag, Poweramp tries to interpret digits at the beginning (or end) of the filename as a track number. This works very well for naming formats such as: 01 Hello - Adele.mp3 02 Send My Love (To Your New Lover) - Adele.mp3 03 I Miss You - Adele.mp3 However it can create spurious results in cases where there is no intended track number - such as Singles rather than album tracks - but the filename still happens to start or end with numerical digits. Ironically, I was only discussing this exact issue earlier this week in: https://forum.powerampapp.com/topic/19549-track-number-being-interpreted-from-filename-even-when-track-tag-is-deleted Incidentally, even if PA does pick up an incorrect track number, you don't have to display track numbers as part of titles on the player screen if you don't want to. Use ≡ Settings > Library > Lists > Show Track Number and select any option apart from "In the Title (everywhere)". Andre
