I cant activate the OPENSL ES Hi-REs out put 24bit after updating adroid 9.0

Got my problem of my power amp after i update my huawei nova 3i on adroid 9.0 my song is useless with out 24bit option on output menu using wired head set it only have bluetooth and usb dac hope u can help me

Please could you post a copy of your device's /etc/audio_policy.conf or audio_output_policy.conf or audio_io_policy.conf file may be helpful. [Edit: on some devices this can be found in /vendor/etc/ or /system/etc/ instead]. For recent Poweramp builds, screenshot of Settings / Audio / Advanced Tweaks / Audio Outputs Detection Logs is a good idea.

@Regorosa002 on Huawei/Honor lite versions, specifically based on kirin7xx series, Hi-Res output is usually disabled by ROM. I guess purely for the marketing purposes. Thanks!

Max said that it is the Android ROM that has disabled high-res output, not Poweramp. The ROM is the thing that needs to be fixed,

I'm guessing unless Max can find a workaround, you would need to contact Huawei and complain about them disabling this option in some of their ROMs. Or use a different ROM, if your device is rootable?
