MotleyG
Please specify the following: Poweramp build number 869 LG G8thinQ Android 10 Stock Any time phone is restarted, or after PA update At least since 867, can't recall if it started earlier, the home screen icon for Poweramp disappears whenever I restart my phone. I have moved it from the app drawer to a "Media Player" folder on the home screen, and also to the bottom static row. Both are missing after the restart. Tried different icons, same result. Anyone else having this issue, or have a suggestion to fix?
maxmp
Is this happening in the stock launcher or some 3rd party one?

maxmp
I can't readily reproduce this on my LGs, though the latest Android there is 9. If you moved Poweramp to sd card I would recommend moving it back to internal storage. Thanks!

Going to check to see if I can find any other external option that may be affecting this. Not a huge problem, just a bit annoying that it disappears occasionally. maxmp
- move Poweramp to internal memory if you’re using 3rd party launcher (and report to launcher developer as they should test this scenario) - use default icon in Poweramp Settings / Look and Feel / Icons. Thanks!
Arun D
That worked for me. I've changed the icon to default and restarted the device, the icon didn't disappeared. Thanks 😊
andrewilley
Speaking of the option to change the default icon Max, is it possible to use the user's selected icon for Android-Auto sessions too? The default Play-button-in-a-circle icon looks very similar to Android Auto's own Play action button, and I'd prefer to use the Zap version like I do on my phone. Thanks 😊 Same here, with the default icon it works as normal after a reboot. It stays in the launcher bar and in the folder I created as well to check. So it only disappears of using one of the alternative logos. Shame as I really like the lightning bolt icon, it is distinctly Poweramp. 😉

andrewilley
Stick with the default icon then, changing it doesn't seem to work well with some launchers. Andre
