Tracks only listed in "All Songs"

G'day,

I'm having issues where I can only see my tracks when I list them through the "All Songs" filter. I've selected the correct folders and re-scanned several times but it looks like the scan stops at about 15% and no matter what I do it goes no further

Also, if I de-select some of the sub folders and perform a scan, the list resets to how it was after the scan stops.

I've removed and re-installed Poweramp a few times,. Wiped cache and even removed the dbdata folder for MAX MP.

Any suggestions?

Phone is a Galaxy S running Gingerbread 2.3.4
