andrewilley Posted December 12, 2019 Share Posted December 12, 2019 I use Folders sorting mode, and I simply prefix each folder name with the release year whenever I want an artist's work to be displayed chronologically. When I select an artist it shows all of their songs and it gives an option to sort by year. It would be easier to be able to get this option when searching for an artist though. I have 756 artists in my library so scrolling to find the right one can be tricky 😅 Thanks Andrew! andrewilley Posted January 30, 2020 Share Posted January 30, 2020 There is no Sort facility for global search results, but if you search locally from within a Category (e.g. Artists) then you can use List Options to sort the results by Year if you want. The results are an all-songs flat list though, so you won't be able to drill-down into albums, but at least the list will be arranged by year.
