Lexxy Posted October 30, 2019 Share Posted October 30, 2019 Hi all, I've got my mp3s tagged with track numbers but when I try to create a playlist for an album it only sorts the songs in alphabetical order. If I long press on the songs and go to info/tags the song is correctly identified with the track number but when I choose re-sort by track # it does nothing.... Am I missing something here? andrewilley Posted October 30, 2019 Share Posted October 30, 2019 Entries in a playlist do not have any association with albums, artists, etc. They are simply a series of audio files played back in the order they are added to the list. If you add a group item to a playlist - such as an Album for example - then the songs within that album will be added in whatever order you have previously defined for sorting Album songs via its List Options menu (which could be Track# if you wish).
