RayG
This pauses the music but, when re-pressed, it results in a beep followed by playback with no sound. App needs to be restarted to return sound.
glm
The next and previous track button block the application too. Only some hiss is hearing.

Also, Poweramp drain the Fiio M11 battery drastically.
maxmp
Please try to use latest betas, the beep sound is disabled (you can disable it manually on your current Poweramp build - Settings / Headset/Bluetooth / Beep - uncheck), as those DAPs have issue with playing sound in parallel with hi-res output. The background playback will consume same or less battery vs stock player. If you're actively scanning new tracks, using visualizer - this will of course drain more memory. RayG
I'll give it a go. It's not the beep that's the problem, it's the lack of sound on resuming play. The FiiO music app doesn't have this problem.
RayG
Nope. Upgraded to 842-845. No better. Hit the pause button and music stops playing. Hit it again and it plays but no sound comes out. I've just adjusted to turning the screen back on and using the pause/play icon on the lock screen. Hard to keep it in your pocket and do that, though.
