Upsampling hires but multiple and max to 768khz and 32bit

I want upsampling by multiple like

44.1 to 88.2 and 176.4 but multiple , just automatic like onkyo and usb audio player pro, no more manual choice, and upsampling to max by device like my device only 192khz ( hidizs type c dac ) but when i listen non hires song , it's should only upsampling to 176.4khz / 24bit and hires to 192khz / 24bit

Just multiple, not by manual

And support 32bit and 768khz ( topping nx4 dsd ) because 2019 many dac with 768khz but app still 384khz

Thank you for read

And just add for my friend, add a tube amp simulator, sound like tube amp ( just for my friend )

1.My device is topping nx4 dsd

2. That is not most, is all device use android is resampling to 16/48 ( because they use android - but only their music app is bypass )

But i want to automatic upsampling in hires output, my song 24/44.1 upsampling to 32/354.8khz , not 32  384khz, but i don't want to choose manual because after my 44.1 song, maybe next song is 24/48 and it's still resamplinh to 354.8khz and i must go to setting and set to 384khz

So i want a automatic upsampling by max of device

Thank

So you always want to upsample to the highest possible integral multiple of the currently playing song's sampling frequency.

Ok, understood. A question : why do you want that ? This seems utterly pointless to me. It won't improve anything, just cost processing power.

if i set to 48khz, all song will resampling to 48khz, but i want 44.1 khz song still in 44.1

or 96khz, 48 to 96 and 44.1 to 88.2

Why do you want to upsample ? At all, I mean ? What benefits do you expect ?

If if you upsample, why must it be an integral multiple ? Why not upsample from 44.1 to 96 ?

Because i use dac / amp portable, when 44.1 up to 96, i hear some white noise. So i just ask this feature

Upsample to use all the dac, i don't want use 32bit dac to decode pcm 16bit / 44.1 or hires 48/24

OK, so if it doen't work with frequencies below 192 kHz and you just don't want to use frequencies below 192 kHz anyway, then use whatever higher frequency is available, say 192 kHz. There's no reason to have an integral multiple of the music's sampling rate. As for the bit depth, does it really matter that much ? You don't have more than 24-bit in your music anyway.

What is your device? Do you realize most devices on market will also re-resample your 44.1kHz multiple to 48kHz multiple anyway?

A similar request here.

  • My phone is Xiaomi mi9t. I've tested both the internal earphone jeck and the usb dac.
  • With OpenSL ES Output, all song will resampling to 16/48.
  • With Hi-Res Output, 44.1/96/192kHz songs get 44.1/96/192kHz output without any SRC. That's great, but I have to choose the sample rate manual every time, when the sample rate of  the next song different to the playing.

So I want the Hi-Res Output can be auto switch the sample rate to match the source, like an additional switch button in Hi-Res Output.

Perhaps I don't understand : could you describe the reason why you "have to" ? What happens if you don't ? Let's say you choose 192 kHz and then play everything with 192 kHz, what is then the problem ?

when playing a 44.1kHz songs and Hi-Res Output  manual set to 44.1kHz:

you can see there is no src. but if the next song is 24bit/96kHz:

you can see the song is resampling to 44.1kHz, I have to change the setting in Hi-Res Output, and then everything is right:

  • Why not choose the “Defined by the device” in the sample rate setting?Cause the real sample rate will fix at 48kHz in that case.
  • Why not just let the setting fix at 192kHz ? Cause I don't want any src, I can notice the defferet in deep dark night.

I think Poweramp should add option to follow source of audio file.
