maxmp Posted May 17, 2019 Share Posted May 17, 2019 @bloodw3rx Settings / Apps & notifications / Poweramp / (Advanced) Battery / Background Restrictions => App can use battery in background, Battery optimization / (top selectbox) All Apps / Poweramp / Don't Optimize (Same for Poweramp - Full Version Unlocker if you use one). Usually, system is smart enough to allow Poweramp to run in background (for my tests Pixel 2 XL @ Pie runs 12-24 hours non stop on battery with no issues), but it can also depend on other apps installed/running on the device, when the Battery optimizer "AI" (hand written logic with issues) prioritizes something else (e.g. GMS). bloodw3rx Posted May 20, 2019 Author Share Posted May 20, 2019 When I click on Battery optimization my Settings force closes. Might be because I am on Q Beta 3.
