Adding tracks to favourlte folder

Is there a facility to add a track to say a favourite folder by a single button press when it is the current playing song

If you're playing the song then the music file is already in a folder on your device, right ? And you want to copy ( or move ? ) it to another folder ? No, you cannot do that with Poweramp. ( and what would be the purpose ? )

Or do you want to add the song to a playlist ? On Main Playing Screen : tap 3-dot-button > Add to Playlist, On List View : long press song > + Playlist

Hi

Thanks for the reply. Was going to install on a head unit and on a previous install I had a one touch heart symbol that put it in a favourites folder.

This seems similar so should do the job. Thanks for the reply.

Adding the currently playing song to a Playlist (which you could call 'Favourites' for example) is not a one-click solution - there are three presses, two of which involve selecting items from a short one-screen list. It's not something I would feel overly comfortable recommending that you do while driving.

You could use the ratings system though. If you don't rate your music in other ways already, just use the  on-screen Thumbs-Up button to flag the currently playing song. This is a single tap. Then later you can use the 'Top Rated' library category to review the songs you've marked, and even add them en-masse into a Playlist, when you are not driving.

You can also use a five-stars ratings system, but that means you need to slide you finger across the rating area and in your case I think the Thumbs-Up variant would be more suitable.

Hi

Thank you for the reply. Sounds like the thumbs up would really work well. Wouldnt be doing it but my partner when she finds a song she likes to add to her list.

Apreciate your time with the great explanation of how it works. Sounds ideal for my use

Thanks
