monkeybutt
When I hear certain song that has a strong "s" or "sh" in lyrics, often times the sound is very loud or sharp that a long duration hearing could hurt my ears. This could be due to poor audio quality, but is there a setting I can tweak to reduce this sound?
andrewilley
You could try reducing the gain in the higher frequencies in the EQ. Andre

Yes, as @andrewilley said you could decrease the eq around 8 KHz. Do you use headphones ? There are headphones that further increase this frequency, e.g. the Beyerdynamic DT 880. I use cheap headset, but it usually good enough for me since I'm not that much of an audiophile. 1 hour ago, andrewilley said: You could try reducing the gain in the higher frequencies in the EQ. Andre "decrease the eq around 8 KHz." forgive me if this is a noob question, but which slider in EQ is the 8KHz one? I see 31 till 16K, is it the 8K one?
