Simple Seek Bar

Can we get an option to have the simple Seek Bar without the Pro Buttons?

You can get that from some skins if you want. The default is to utilise the otherwise-wasted screen space freed up when you switch from the background/dynamic bars to the simple line bar.

I suppose a seekbar on the widget is impossible... due to... widget reasons, right ?

(I'd even take multiple %-of-track buttons)

A "mark track with thumb up if upvoted" would also be nice.

@pasc Android widgets are not optimized for frequent changes (for seekbar you need an update each 500ms-1sec). Whole widget should be updated, all images should be resent, etc. Such updates eat so much battery (in launcher process) that nobody will use such widgets anyway.
