no option to have display file name

Settings -> Look & Feel -> Player UI, there is an option titled, "Filename as Title - Use track filename

i see this in other posts but i get as far as player UI then i do not have the option  to have filename displayed, some songs just say track 2, track 13, track 16

The option is in Settings > Library >  Lists (in the Advanced section near the bottom). However it will affect all places where a song title would otherwise be displayed, and the filename will now be shown instead.

If there is no title tag at all, then the filename will get used anyway - regardless of the above option - but in your examples it looks like your files do contain some limited tag info, but it merely contains "Track nn" as the Title rather than anything useful.
