Interpreten zeilen Bild unterdrücken

Hallo,

A number of people have pointed out the same thing, in that when album art is the same for every track it seems a bit of a waste of space to show the same picture on every line - especially in Compact List mode, where you just want to see as much text and as many items as possible.

The work to remove them is not as easy as it sounds though, as the same space to the left of the wording is also used for multi-selection tickboxes, so all of that code would need modifying too.

Hallo,

Thank you for the explanation of the facts. But it would be nice ....

The fact that so many participants commented on this fact shows the great interest. You must also admit that the stereotypical repetition of the same image looks a bit strange.

Had a look at this. Unfortunately it is not possible to select 1 specific case as Poweramp applies "scene" styles. The one we are interested inhere is the "ItemTrackAAImage_scene_small" and it is used whenever you select compact list view. Hiding albumart is possible but it then is applied everywhere for this list type.

When you hide the art in that way, does the textual content get more width to display, or it is still truncated as though the artwork was present? And what happens if you then long-press on a track to multi-select, where do the tickboxes go?

There are 2 ways in which you can hide an object

gone

invisible

When gone, the text will align to the left of the line. When invisible, the text will be where it is with albumart

As a result with "gone" the text will be behind the tick boxes

With "invisible" the display is normal

The style itself

wrap_content

wrap_content

will not truncate but may actually wrap if very long
