Invoke the help with the button on the lower right corner, an explanation will appear on top of the screen : Tap on the album art or swipe down on the album art. The other way from list to main playing screen seems to work well. That can be configured : There is a setting in Settings > Library > Lists > List Item Click Action where you can configure what should happen when you click on a song in the list, Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That should work for all categories, but there does seem to be a bug which can cause PA to return to the All Songs list rather than the current list when playing in Playlist mode.
