AnimeFlux Posted January 30 So whenever I open the player it starts skipping all my music and says they can't be played. But my music files work on the other music player. I'm on a galaxy note
andrewilley Posted January 30 Try doing a Full Rescan (in Settings > Library). [I've moved this to the regular support forums as you posted this in the Legacy v2 section] Andre
AnimeFlux Posted January 30 I tried that but it still won't play any music

It is set in Settings > Library > Music Folders. Perhaps the problem can be narrowed down to a subdirectory.
andrewilley Posted January 30 Do all of your files show in the Library views, or only some of them? What happens if you try to launch a file from a file explorer app and ask it to play it in Poweramp? Is there any difference between files stored on your device's memory and external (SD Card) memory? Andre

Just tried that I unchecked most of my non music folders but I'm still having the same issue

Andre My files show up, but when I tried from my files app none of them play and it keeps skipping to other songs but it does play then it just stops and gives me a notification
andrewilley Posted January 31 What do the tags indicate if you look at them from the library view (long-press on song, then Info/Tags). Otherwise, a complete uninstall and re-install of PA would be my next suggestion. You didn't mention where there files were stored; if on an SD Card, try moving some to internal storage as a test and see if they work from there. AnimeFlux Posted February 1 I have some on internal storage then I have a few in my SD card. On info it says the song name and the artist and the album, but on the actual player is says unknown artist
AnimeFlux Posted February 1 I tried reinstalling but it didn't change anything
andrewilley Posted February 1 Is there anything in common about the problem tracks. I noticed that the title started with a non alpha-numeric character - "&" -for example. Andre
AnimeFlux Posted February 1 So hears an update, I got it to work properly I cleared the data from my app settings (and cache) and it started working properly
