Dave532
Unpleasant visuals aside, I am encountering a significant amount of popping and crackling, similar to an LP on a turntable with the new V3 version. I never heard this on V2 since I have owned it (over 2 years) . Is there a any potential solution to this audio issue before i revert back to V2? L0U
I am also experiencing this. I fear I may have damaged my speakers! I have had some luck by turning down the gain on the bluetooth output level on my phone, but then I have to boost my amp to compensate. Super scary bluetooth distortion bug!?!? maxmp
Device / Android / Output in Poweramp / Output device? For bluetooth - probably added basses with default Absolute Bluetooth volume? Absolute bluetooth volume means you have 100% volume always set and there is no any headroom for bases. (Though this affects v2 too). Disable Absolute Bluetooth volume if you like to amplify basses w/o distortion over BT.
L0U
EDIT: Couldn't wait and spent my lunch experimenting, which is SUPER SCARY! Im not sure if these loud POPS will damage my speakers.... Anyway, disable absolute bluetooth volume didnt help. But based in your comment I disabled my in app EQ and that seems to help, so definitely bass related. However, I had the same EQ in v2 of the app with no issues. Thanks. Thanks for the tip! I will give that a try on the way home and report back tonight.
