playlist view view if song is in a playlist whilst playing

Do you mean showing if you are current playing FROM a playlist (in which case that info can be shown in the metadata line at the bottom of the player screen), or to show if the current song that you are listening to in any other mode happens to also be contained in one of your playlists?

I mean no matter where you are playing from it would be great to see in which playlists the song playing is added to so you can see if it is already in the playlist you are about to add it to.

I do a lot of driving.. like 7hr drives and it's relatively easy to add a song to a playlist however it's not easy to see if it's there already .. or in another playlist already.

So over the album art a short list of the names of the playlists the song is in would be great.

In the shorter term, just enable the "Don't Add Duplicates" mode so even if you do try to add it to a Playlist, you won't end up doubling up in the list.
