How to suppress album art in lists?

Showing album art in lists (e.g. Genres) is counter-productive because it severely limits the number of entries that can appear on the screen.

Is there any way to suppress album art from lists?

"Suppressing" covers won't help a much as there will be a placeholder image then. Tracks support "List - Compact" zoom level, I'll probably add this to all kind of categories. There is cover or place for cover as well - this is used as a place for checkbox and won't be removed.

I would suggest "List" and/or "Details" options as in Windows:

I would appreciate a simple list view option too. I have a lot of tracks which don't have any artwork as they are nor regular albums or singles, but they do tend to have fairly long tiles, so an option to view a straight-forward text-only list format where I can see more of the actual text would be very useful. At the moment I have quite a few tracks which all show the same wording, even in Compact List mode, as the first 30+ characters of the title are identical, with the differences only occurring at the end of the name (which PA currently truncates).

I would appreciate the option to toggle the view as you would see it in Poweramp V2.

A simple list showing the song name, duration and album it's from.

Apologies for the fuss, but it's so cluttered and in your face and I just don't agree with it.
