Can't scan new songs in library

I've chosen the media library as my external memory card's music folder. But it can't scan and add new songs to the library.

I'm using Asus Zenfone Max pro m1. It runs on Android Oreo. I'm a paid user and signed as beta tester. But in later versions it's working fine. But after update it doesn't work.

- what is exactly the latest version (build number)?

- do you get any error?

- in Poweramp Settings => Library => Music Folders, are you able to select appropriate storage and subfolders?

- if you go to that storage from some (preferable from preinstalled one) file explorer, open some track and select Poweramp, what happens?

- No, I don't get any error.

- Yes, I can able to select appropriate storage and subfolders.

- It plays on Poweramp. But it doesn't add new songs in its playlist. It doesn't matter how many times I scan the folder.

Is it one folder that is causing the issue, or multiple? And obvious differences between ones that work and ones that don't (folder names, etc)? Have you tried doing a clean re-format of the SD Card and copying everything back to it (need a computer to back it up onto first)?

It's the problem with Poweramp only. When I used the Black Player. It works as smooth as silk.
