Option to choose for regular scroll bar instead of alphabetic scroll bar

The file name of all my songs begin with the date of recording, e.g. "1992-11-07 song name". When listing all songs I only get an alphabetic scroll bar so it's not possible for me to scroll through thousands of songs quickly.
Would it be possible to add an option in settings to use only regular scroll bars (like the ones used when inside an album) for fast scrolling?
