jaybravo
I've only been using the app for a little while and it has all the features I want. My only criticism is that the stereo image seems to automatically have some kind of enhancement, adding some extra width and space (especially to the lower frequencies), and even when you set the "stereo" knob to minimum there is still some enhancement which personally I find quite disorientating. When the balance is panned hard left there is still some sound in the right channel and also vice versa. Being a music producer myself I know that this can be a way of adding stereo width by altering the phase between the two channels, but I would much prefer to hear the music how it was intended so PLEEEEASE would you add an option to disable this feature/setting so I can enjoy all the other features without the disorientation Link to comment https://forum.powerampapp.com/topic/11189-correct-stereo-image/ Share on other sites
andrewilley
I assume you've tried turning the EQ/Tone/etc options off completely, does that disable the effect you are hearing? Also, does it happen with the new audio engine in the v3 alpha release or just the v2 stable release? jaybravo
I've not tried v3 but in v2 it's the same irrespective of the EQ/Tone settings. I might try v3 on a different device just to find out if it's different Link to comment https://forum.powerampapp.com/topic/11189-correct-stereo-image/#findComment-46473 Share on other sites
