I have both "Resume On Wired Headset" and "Resume On Bluetooth" turned on. Pause and Resume works with bluetooth disconnect and connect, but after a bluetooth use when the player is paused, if I connect a wired headphones, it does not auto-resume. If I press play, it works correctly, and from this point, If I disconnect the headphones, the player pauses, and resumes on connection again. I have a Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact and I use a jack-USB-C adapter for my jack headphones.

The next/prev button on the headset is not recognized by Poweramp when screen is blocked, just volume buttons work in this mode. Next/prev continue working when unblocking screen. Seems like Android system is handling this button when screen is blocked, because if I make a 3/4 seconds press, then Google detects it and ask for options for using headset with voice (which I have disabled) What can I do to fix this? Ps: mobile phone is Umi Super

Before you assume this is a mere repetion of what has been suggested earlier, allow me to specify: A user did ask a SIMILAR question for a month ago, but far from identical. I DO NOT want you to CHANGE this behaviour, but asking to ADD an OPTION so it will resume play only when the music is interrupted by removing the headset. Why I am so cheeky to ask for this, is that I know you are brilliant with coding, as everyone can witness by looking at the vastness of options and features you have in your player. I could add, although it may be forfeited since it has been that long time it was posted, that an admin, called "admin", replied to a request identical to mine, two years ago, and stated that he wanted to add such an option (not removing or replace the function you have already). Thank for your time Sam Ferdinand
