  1. Hi all, Using the latest version on an up-to-date Galaxy S10. The issue I am experiencing is this: when asking Google assistant to play a song, for example by saying 'Hey Google, play x', Google appropriately responds and says it will play and then purports to show the song playing in Poweramp. However, the song itself does not then play. It may not play for 15-20 seconds, or sometimes will not play at all until, for example, the Google Assistant screen is dismissed. Alternatively, I have to tell Google again to 'play', then the song plays. It is as though the song is selected but im
  2. The only thing I'd like to see added to Poweramp is the ability to play songs, albums, playlists, etc., by voice command. I can tell my Google Assistant to play X song by Y artist, but it only searches through internet streaming services. Ford vehicles with SYNC can play songs from iPods and iPhones (and supposedly Androids) by voice command, but I don't have SYNC and I can't scroll through the 3000+ songs on my phone while I'm driving. I know some brands, like Samsung, have a voice activated playback feature, but it's only for the stock music player, which doesn't do ReplayGain...I can't n
  3. I love that Poweramp is integrated with Google Voice Search, but I think it could go one step further and let you set a default action for the "Listen to..." command. Right now, it is essentially like doing a search within Poweramp and showing you the list of results. Since I (and I'm sure many others) primarily use the voice search in my car, this causes me to still have to look down and make a selection on my phone after the search. I think it would be convenient if we could have a default action once the search completes: either play top result, enqueue top result, or show results (the cu
  4. I am looking to integrate AutoVoice and Tasker to create custom voice commands of my own for Poweramp to do/say the following - 1. Song "song name" 2. Album "album name" 3. Genre "genre" 4. Playlist "playlist name" The idea is to be able to replicate a search/filter action and then trigger Poweramp to play the searched/filtered list. So far I have been able to do only get the song filter working, using the following settings in Tasker - Action - com.maxmpz.audioplayer.API_COMMAND Data - content://com.maxmpz.audioplayer.data/files?flt=%songname Extra - cmd:20 I am unable to trigger
  5. Would like to see voice control feature to change pause play music...something similar to gesture control but with voice
  6. Hey I saw a topic similar to this in August, and a moderator acknowledged the suggestion, but I was wondering on the status of this: When you voice search (using Voice Actions / Google Now) Poweramp will respond as an optional intent to "Listen to..". However, Poweramp will pull up a list of results as if you had used the search function in the app. I'd like to further suggest that if one result is found (aka - high confidence), Poweramp should automatically enqueue the song and start playing it immediately. As nice as it would be to tap into the Voice Actions API, I know it is not possible to
  7. I launch google voice search and say "listen to disturbed". Poweramp launches and the search screen opens with albums/tracks listed by the artist Disturbed. Then it sits there waiting for me to press something. Problem is, I'm on a bike and my phone is in a pack inaccessible at the time. I'd like to be able to "listen to disturbed" and have it just play all of their songs randomly without any user interaction needed on the phone. Is there a setting I can tweak to make this happen? "listen to playlist name" would also be great.
  8. Does anyone know how to get Poweramp to automatically start playing a song through voice command? Right now, when I hold the "search" button on my phone, and use the "Listen to" command, it'll open up Poweramp with the song selected but i still have to "click" on it to start playback. I tried setting the winamp app as the default for the "listen to" command and with winamp, the song starts playing back automatically. This is the preferable behavior. Any ideas how to replicate this on Poweramp?
