  1. Not sure if this has been an issue previously, as I never had occasion to test it before, however noticed today when I tried using standard headphones with my USB DAC on my Pixel 2, Poweramp refuses to use the Hi-Res output and forces the normal profile with the wired headset/aux output. This is very odd to me because if I plug in a male-to-male 3.5mm cable to connect it to my car's audio system, or any other type of line input, it correctly selects the USB DAC under the Hi-Res profile with all the exact same hardware. Can anyone shed some light on this possibly strange bug? Many thanks. Edit: Just did a bit more testing, and I suspect this might be an unintentional bug. I have a pair of original Beats Solo headphones that have a 3.5mm connector on them. If I connect the male-to-male cable to my USB DAC before plugging the other end into the headphones, PA switches to Hi-Res with the USB DAC and I can plug the headphones in and we're off to the races. However, if I first plug the cable into the headphones and THEN into the USB DAC, PA picks it up as headset/AUX under the standard output. Neat thing, but it allows me to test the difference, and with flac or 320kbit mp3, there is a MASSIVE difference between the audio for the standard and Hi-Res output, so I would kindly ask for this to be investigated as I would absolutely love to have that kind of high quality experience with my Sennheisers that sadly do not have a removable cable like my Beats. Thank you very much! Edit2: forgot my OS, on stock Pie with latest updates, build number is PPR2.180905.005
  2. I'm using Mi 8 with MIUI10. And when I use the "HTC Type-c to 3.5mm Headphone J" , the output device is identified as "Wired Headset/AUX" instead of "USB DAC".(I have enabled them in Hi-Res Output). It seems llike that the player can't use the exclusive mode(usb dac) although it can work well in headset mode.

    USB DAC bitperfect output

Hello, Do Poweramp support bitperfect output to usb DAC? I have fiio Q1 mk2 and galaxy A8. When I connect them via OTG, powepamp show me that output is fixed to 16bit 194 kHz

    USB DAC output

So far so good, it works smoothly overall and looks great. However, I tried to connect an external DAC and it looks active, Poweramp recognized it, but it's unable to use it properly, as in no sound comes out. The phone is a Samsung Xcover 4, Android 7.0, and the DAC is an LH Labs GeekOut 1000 (v1). I can tell it's not an issue of device compatibility because it works with the HibyMusic player in the same configuration, even without an external battery. I will provide any further information you might need for the beta.
  5. Imperfection

    Poweramp build 703

I encountered a small problem with USB DACs playback. During playback, there will be some sound distortions as if the buffer length is not enough. Tested with both q1 and idsd black label. Both exhibit the same problem.Cleared the RAM and tested again with the same problem. Is it due to the buffer size which is maxed out at 100? anyone having the same problems? I'm on Android 6.0.1. Note 5. Thanks.
  6. When I had "Serenade DSD" connect my android device(SONY Xperia L C2015), I let Poweramp play a song(FLAC, 44.1khz, 16bit), and then I could listen to music from "Serenade DSD". However, the music usually stopped in several minutes. The sound stopped but the track in Poweramp still played. P.S. "Serenade DSD" is a affordable and portable reference grade USB DAC.
  7. hello everyone, I just wan't to report a bug occuring when using an USB Dac like the HIFIMEDIY SABRE see here http://hifimediy.com/android-dac You need to kill Poweramp when plugin the USB DAC. If not, the sound ouput is distorded. The same things occures when switching from the USB audio output to the phone jack output. Tested on galaxy S4 and S5 with latest stock firmware and latest registered ( ) Poweramp Thank you, and feel free to contact me if you wan't to debug anything Aymeric
