  1. Just bought a new Galaxy S10 before my old, pathetic, S6 dies completely, and used Samsung's so-called "Smart switch" to transfer what it could from the old to the new. While the music files seem to have transferred, the playlists did not. I have scrupulously exported my playlists any time I make a change to any of them, after learning the hard way that playlists are not permanent until exported. The old phone had a Playlists folder with lots of m3u8 files in it, so I naively assumed I could copy that folder to the new phone and that would be that. And, indeed, there are now playlists showing when I select Playlists from the Library main menu, but only if I check the Playlists folder in the Settings->Library->Music Folders->Folders Selection->Internal storage sub-menu; otherwise I get the "Does not look like anything to me" message. The playlists seem to function as expected when asked to play their songs. The problem I experience is that I'm shown ALL the m3u8 files, as "xxx.m3u8", instead of just the name of the playlist itself in a single instance without the suffix. On the old phone, the trick was to NOT check the Settings->...Playlists folder, just the folders, like Music, where songs could be found. Otherwise I would be shown all those m3u8 files. On the new phone, not checking the Playlists folder means no playlists at all. I've tried a variety of import strategies to no avail. What's the trick in the new environment? 2. This is my first post for help. I have the Poweramp unlocker my music is stored on my sd card. How do I transfer all my music onto a new phone.
  3. Hi! I am a user from India. I've been meaning to purchase the full app (unlocker) for quite a long time. I dont have a credit card of my own, I just have a few debit cards which have always failed to make the purchase. Last week, I asked a friend to purchase the app for me. I though that you'd be sending some registration number or a secret activation code to his email id (after the purchase), hence I asked him to purchase the app for me through his credit card & email id. Now Im told that the power amp unlocker can now only be only accessed in my phone if I link his email id to my play store account. I dont wish to do that, because that would cause a lot of problems in organizing my device. So, Im asking you if there's any way that I can get the unlocker to my email id or to my device? I have the order number and the screenshot of the purchase. Please guide me. Regards.
  4. So I'm on my eighth phone and each time I export my playlist to sd card nothing happens, my biggest pain however is why isn't there an easy way to just transfer the music from old phone right to the new one? I just went from 2,004 songs to now only about 200.. do I really have to go through transferring through laptop or has anyone a better more efficient way?

    S-Beam Support

Hello, I would like to suggest working in support for S-Beam. Currently, I have to open the terrible stock music player to do this. If I try with Poweramp it simply sends the recieving phone to the Google Store to download Poweramp.

    Transfer from PC

I bought Poweramp for my Android device and am having trouble gettings songs onto it from my PC. I know there are some WMA files that Poweramp can not handle; however, I am having trouble with m4a songs. Some of these were initially in the WMA format but I erased thhose and re-ripped into m4a. I used to receive an error message someting like not all file formats are support. Now all I receive is transferred failed in a separate Winamp window. Is Winamp the right PC program? Should I be using another? What am I doing wrong?

    Batch transfer

I was surprised to see that there seems to be no option for batch transfer of music over Bluetooth or related service. It is a pain when one tries to transfer whole albums over Bluetooth. This feature should definitely be included. One should be able to select multiple tracks or even albums and transfer them long press menus for albums should be included for album transfer. Playlists and ques should also be transferable. I'm sorry if this feature already exists and I haven't found it yet. Someone please tell me how to use it if it already exists.
