What is wrong with this code? Hear are some stuff from PowerampAPI.java /** * Data:<br> * - uri, following URIs are recognized:<br>
  2. I'm attempting to use Poweramp my car audio player and am trying to simplify/automate as much as possible. I have several m3u playlists which are in my library folder. They scan and show up with Poweramp ok and work fine. I gather you need to reference playlist ids when using the API, which isn't ideal, so I've tried to ascertain these by trial and error. The problem is, sending the same id will start a different playlist on each occasion. So I have no idea what the numbers I'm sending through are actually referencing. content://com.maxmpz.audioplayer.data/playlists/[number] cm
  3. A lot of people use automation apps like Macrodroid or Tasker to start Poweramp or other musicplayers when driving f.e. But how to stop them automatically when you arrive? Unfortunately newer android versions do not allow to kill other apps on non rooted devices. With Macrodroid however you can kill other apps through their notifications. This works perfectly with Poweramp. Macrodroid taps the "x " for you.
  4. Could we maybe see, at some point in the future (hopefully near) tasker integration for changing EQ, playing certain lists/songs, or maybe even as deep as changing settings? I currently use tasker to launch Poweramp when I connect my speakers or headphones but I have a fine tuned EQ for each and I'm so wishing for a way to change those with tasker so I wouldn't have to worry about it. This could also open up plenty of new possibilities for other people using tasker.
  5. hi i have created a task in Tasker where i repeatedly copy and delete a song to a single folder to play searched songs using autovoice(because Poweramp plays all songs in the folder and i want to play and stop Poweramp after playing single song) and i need to rescan folder after every delete so could anybody please tell me how to rescan folder in Poweramp i use this intent but it didnt work Fm (218) A1: Send Intent Action:com.maxmpz.audioplayer.ACTION_SCAN_DIRS Cat:Default Mime Type: Data: Extra: Extra:
  6. @maxmp Can you throw some light here? Trying to send an intent to open a file and I can't make it work, I don't know if there is a problem with the API, or if it is Tasker, or if I'm just a noob. This is what I tried so far: Action: com.maxmpz.audioplayer.API_COMMAND Cat: None Data: file:///storage/2EAE-2BA7/Music/0emulated/HI RES/09. Three Little Birds.flac Extra: cmd:20 Target: Service Tried all combinations by changing/filling: Cat to Default Mime Type to Audio/*, text/*, text/plain, and text/html Data I tried file:// instead of file:
  7. For those interested in automatically backing up their ratings, automatically updating the POPM tag of tracks or automatically updating the Poweramp ratings from the POPM tags, New Playlist Manager (V226) now has the necessary intents. Using Tasker, you can create a schedule that automatically does some or all of the above. . The intents are: com.flyingdutchman.newplaylistmanager.servicepopm2pa com.flyingdutchman.newplaylistmanager.servicepa2popm com.flyingdutchman.newplaylistmanager.serviceexportratings Category: Launcher Target: Service or simp
  8. Hi, I have the following task set (it's to know if there's music playing, watch the attachments for details), and I don't know why it doesn't work with Poweramp, it works with google play music though. I'm not an advanced user of Tasker, so my knowledge is limited. Thanks for your time and any help. EDIT: What I wanted to achieve is to enable "Do Not Disturb" (DND) while music was playing, because with Hi-Res enabled, when I get notifications the audio switched to the phone's speakers, and when the notification sound finishes the music comes back to the he
  9. I listen to a lot of music with Poweramp, often in shuffle all tracks mode, often while driving. The feature that I missed from Poweramp were: 1. delete in one shot a running track because it did not like 2. delete in one shot an entire album while I listen to a track belonging to it 3. immediately switch from shuffle all tracks to shuffle all track from the artist's current track 4. immediately switch from shuffle all tracks to album's current track I have long studied this blog and in the end I was able to do it all! The system is simple and uses the following tools:
  10. I am looking for help to schedule auto play specific playlist like "prayer" from first song at every morning 8.30 using tasker. Appreciate help for the same.
  11. Hello. I use sleep timer, in Poweramp, every day when going to sleep. I set the timer to 15 minutes but it sometimes happens the delay is too short, and the player stops before I sleep. I then have to switch the screen of my phone on, unlock the phone, enter Poweramp, wander in the menu, activate the sleep timer, resume playing... All the process is quite awakening, and I look for a simpler way to do this. It seems to me Tasker can interact with Poweramp, but not change it's configuration. Is the timer a configuration setting, out of reach from Tasker, or a feature, that I can access
  12. I am looking to integrate AutoVoice and Tasker to create custom voice commands of my own for Poweramp to do/say the following - 1. Song "song name" 2. Album "album name" 3. Genre "genre" 4. Playlist "playlist name" The idea is to be able to replicate a search/filter action and then trigger Poweramp to play the searched/filtered list. So far I have been able to do only get the song filter working, using the following settings in Tasker - Action - com.maxmpz.audioplayer.API_COMMAND Data - content://com.maxmpz.audioplayer.data/files?flt=%songname Extra - cmd:20 I am unable to trigger
  13. I have been searching high and low for an awnser I could understand for this question with no luck. What are the intents I can use to make Tasker control Poweramp? For all my searching around I know Poweramp has an API and can recieve commands from other apps but I'm to dumb to understand any of that code I've found on the API forum. Using Tasker's "Send Intent" task I have tried to use the following to get Tasker to control Poweramp: com.maxmpz.Poweramp.player.<action - either play, toggle_play_pause, stop, next, shuffle, repeat, etc>com.maxmpz.Poweramp.player.PowerampAPI.<acti
