Hello, I actually have the v3 version on my Xperia X and every time that I play music via Bluetooth speaker, It stops when I play 2 to 3 songs. I think it pauses in the middle of the song or the music player stops the music. I am using an Oontz speaker and notice that this is happening. Is there a fix to this? William C.

Why does Poweramp Bluetooth sound better than other apps?

Recently I got a Maceton WM4BE Bluetooth receiver which supports AptX. On my Sony Xperia Z5 with Poweramp (version 2.0.10 build 588) the sound quality is very good but with other apps (Sony music player, Spotify, YouTube) it sounds too loud and crackles quite a bit. I've checked my Sony audio settings and even changed to safe mode, but apps other than Poweramp still sound bad... So I'm wondering exactly what Poweramp does differently to Bluetooth audio compared to other apps? Has anyone had similar experience with the Xperia Z5? Turning Bluetooth DVC on increases the volume in Poweramp, but it doesn't add any more distortion. I don't have any other Bluetooth devices to test, but I did try the receiver on my older phone (HTC Butterfly s) which also supports AptX. There is sometimes crackling when I switch tracks (which might be a problem on HTC since I recall the same thing happening with wired devices) but the sound quality is otherwise fine. -
Hi, i have the big problem with skins on sony's rom. What i did? - Just download poweramp_skin_sdk from github (last version). Tried to build classic Poweramp skin. (the only modification i did is create src dirs and replace ${build.version} -> ${project.build.version} for prevent compiler issueses).Everything goes fine except one thing - skin crash when i click on the launcher icon. Poweramp skin dialog show text - "Skin update requared". This happends only on sony's rom, on other devices everything fine. *Note: I did read about similar question on this forum. I checked - skin-compat-debug.apk included in build (i just type ant debug in skin_compat folder). Also i found commented strings in skin_lib/res/values/public.xml file (content below) - Do i need to uncomment those lines? <public type="array" name="poweramp_skins" id="0x80050000" /> <public type="array" name="poweramp_skin_names" id="0x80050001" /> <public type="array" name="poweramp_skin_authors" id="0x80050002" />

Hello all, i back ! I was with a problem and I was reading and did some testing and was able to find something. The smart phones with single core processor as my intel atom does not have support for DSP. I like to know any solution for this, because I have using and enjoying the power amp with the preamp button at least and I can not Unlockable the sterio x. Can you help me please, because I'm buying a license now, and I also think that you would sell a lot more if this serious problem is being corrected. thank you

Is Poweramp able to take advantage of the xLOUD technology on Sony Ericsson Xperia devices? Is this planned / possible in the future? A great product - currently trialing. Keep up the ecellent work guys! Cheers, Gavin

I'm purchased Poweramp. it is very goooood music app! i request 2 things that i want. 1. i use sony xperia arc device and last month xperia S's music app released. in that, clearbass is available! for sony device users, would you consider clearbass that able to working in Poweramp? please… 2. in lock screen widget, swipe gesture for prev, next song… please add animation effect like Poweramp player screen. i love that effect! please consider my suggestion and thanks for developing Poweramp! bye ^^
