Hi, Does Poweramp feature an A-B repeat function? Support for A-B repeat in Poweramp would be awesome. The ability to mark a start and end point within the single song/audio file that is played for just that marked-in segment to play recursively would be great to use especially for playback of audio recordings but also for music Additionally an ability to export/save the particular bookmark file (text )of the A-B repeat that is selected for. Many of you might have used the feature on such players such as VLC http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php ... 2&start=20 (It's in VLC 1.0+)

I hope that someday Poweramp can provide song lyrics features (like in photos) without using other applications.

I'm sorry if this bug was here already. So, I not see in library some of music files which must to be there. But in file manager I can see them and can play through Poweramp v3. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, screenshot of system version in folder below You can see screenshots by URL right here. As you see, in file manager show 15 files, but Poweramp show only 9. I hope this information will be useful.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE PER SONG EQ PRESET ASSIGNMENTS. I don't understand for the life of me, why this feature was removed from the latest beta build 792 (793 on Playstore). This is a deal breaker for me, as I have many EQ presets custom tailored to different songs to which they (and some similar songs) are assigned to. I can imagine for somebody that has many different genres in their library, this could be very frustrating. I don't want to have to take my phone out, unlock it and scroll through EQ presets every 3 - 5min. Currently I'm using alpha version 709 and was excited to see an update avaliable for beta, given the reduced functionality of the previous beta version. Only to be disappointed a vital fuction was removed. I don't understand its removal, I never found it to be in the way or clutter up the app in any way. It greatly improves the way I experience my music, and is one of the things I used to mention when suggesting the app to friends. So, PLEASE BRING IT BACK.

Hi there!. I'm having this problem since first time i started using the app. I noted that Poweramp adds a few seconds to song duration, depending on song's length. In certain songs adds 10 seconds, in others it adds even 1 minute! My device: Motorola Moto E (1st Gen.) Android 4.4.4 - Kitkat Poweramp 2.0.10-build-581-uni (Full version) I've read some threads talking about this bug, but can't find a solution. Now, i've found that exists a relation between art cover resolution and the seconds that Poweramp adds to that song. I realized this by seeing the amount of seconds that the app adds with a larger resolution art cover and then the amount added after downsizing the art cover resolution in the same MP3 file. After downsize, Poweramp reduces the amount of seconds added to song. I hope this info can help you to find a fix for this annoying problem. Thanks a lot. -
I would like a place inside the player that shows the next song, as a list that I can scroll down and see the songs in the order that they follow, there already exists a menu thus giving a touch to the name of the song, but if they are in mode Random can not be seen in the order they will be played

Sometimes one has to reinstall a ROM, or purchase a new phone. Unfortunately, I haven't found a way of exporting anything other than settings and equaliser presets. Would it be possible to have a feature that exports the ratings for audio files? And possibly other meta-data too. Thanks, Juan

Hello. Poweramp can't play some of my MP3s, while stock music player can play it normally. It says something like There has been a playing error and skips to next song. Also, the mp3 tags of these songs are missing in Poweramp. I tried to delete the songs from the phone and move them again, force close the app, delete cache, but it didn't help. Could you help me? Hello! First off, thank you for a great app! Been using it since version 1! I have a question for you about a feature to add. I can delete my music files directly off the sdcard from the folder mode and the album mode. However, in playlist mode, I can only remove the song from the playlist. Is it possible to be able to delete files from the sdcard, directly selected from the playlist? Thanks! -
I like the player, very nice. I like music in high quality and fidelity. So I chose Poweramp. One suggestion: Add a noise meter and dynamic range. Just as the loud warning, a warning noise of the song playing. Something like this: It is a matter of taste if you prefer compressed music. But throughout that it produces negative effects on the ear. It would help to make it even better player. Poweramp rules!

I apologize if this question has been asked/answered before. So, I just bought Poweramp and I'm wondering if there might be some option I'm missing with shuffle. When I listen to music I tend to shuffle my entire library, and skip around a lot. Sometimes I don't decide to listen to a song until after I've skipped past it... but when I tested it on my way to work today it seemed that Poweramp's shuffle doesn't allow you to return to previous songs, instead making both the 'skip forward' and 'skip back' buttons into shuffle buttons. I hate this. It makes the whole listening experience frustrating for me because I can't go back, or re-listen to a song that's just passed. If there isn't an option to change this, there definitely should be. As of now I'm wondering if this option exists and I've simply missed it. I'm going to keep using Poweramp either way (the default music player on my nexus doesn't recognize a good chunk of the songs I just put on it due I'm guessing to their file type/format), but I'd really love for this to be something I can change. -
Hi there, really hoping somebody can give me a secret-sauce recipe to fix my problem. Samsung Galaxy S4, recently updated itself to kernel 4.3 When playing techno or Pink Floyd where the songs are intended to blend together, Poweramp inserts a brief "pause" command when switching from one track to the next. I know it's a "pause" command because my car stereo is showing the command and then it quickly disappears as Poweramp moves on to the next track. This behavior does NOT occur with headphones plugged in. Strangely, I have seen Poweramp not insert the pause on a couple of occasions where the next track came up, but then the next couple songs come along on the gapless album and the pauses just come right back. Having it avoid the pause is the rarity, the brief pause is the dominant behavior about 19 times out of 20 (or worse). I tried messing with various lock settings, BT metadata, and even tried uninstalling random apps that I thought might have some access to Bluetooth. The only thing that I know for certain is that this problem started immediately after my phone updated from 4.2x to 4.3. Wish I could go back... Help, please? Tom -
It would be great to allow play songs of a certain genre or album in order of score, you start playing the best qualified to least qualified and ultimately they were not qualified. Even another option that plays the best qualified down and then those who are unskilled in the random play

Hi, I was looking for a good music player for my android and in the end decided to buy power amp, I am generally satisfied with it, especially with the deep tweakable settings. Now one thing that I am really missing is a songs in the album list. For example when I am playing a certain album the only way I go through songs is by sliding the screen or skipping songs, there is no obvious way to just view all the songs in the album, unless I tap the icon on top go to Albums, find the album and first then can I select songs to play in that patricular album. Now my qustion is if there is in fact such a feature to just flip the cover like on Iphone and be presented wit the song list for that album, or some other way, or is the mentioned way the only way?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the early versions of Poweramp have the option to insert/edit comments or "tags" in a song? What I want to achieve is this. Just how there is an option for "topic tags" on this thread. I want to do the same for songs. It is kind of the reverse of adding a song to a playlist, except that song tags would be embedded in the ID3 tags of a song To make it simpler for you: if in Poweramp you could just enable the ability to edit the "comments" on songs. I could work wonders with that as well Cheers

I would like there to be a way for Poweramp to identify it and change incorrect info, cause i know like alot of people some of my music tracks have wrong names or dont have the albums name or year on it. I would alao like to suggest a option to where we can pick the downloaded album art to be saved as the ablum art for the song/album. Instead of being applied to player screen only Still whatever happens i love this app so please dont over do it on the big update
