  1. Phone: HTC U12+ (Stock ROM) Android: 9 BT Headphones: Bang & Olufsen H9i with touch controls Hi guys, I've recently bought the B&O H9i headphones with touch controls and I've discovered that Poweramp is going a bit crazy when using the touch controls. As we will see a rise in touch controlled headphones soon I think it is viral that this issue is fixed. So the problem araises when I try to use the touch controls in anyway. You swipe backward or forward on the earcup to change the track, this works well in other music apps, but in Poweramp it changes the track and pauses the music, after the track change, I've experimented with different button responses in settings, but it only makes the problem worse. On single press setting it changes a track and pauses it. on the double/truple setting it skips 1,2 or 3 tracks and pauses it, same happens on long press setting, this makes using the touch controls unbearable. Also I have noticed that Poweramp goes crazy on its own without touching the touch controls when double/triple press setting is enabled, skipping tracks randomly pausing music, skipping tracks again. Please ask me for any more info if needed, hope this can be quickly resolved, as Poweramp is my most facourite app for years and the B&O Headphones are one of the best out there so they should be compatible with the app. I do not experiance similar issues with the n7 player or tidal. I would hate to have to swap to n7 its s%$t! xD Looking forward to your help Adi
  2. Dear member, Newest update, build 826 from Google Play broke my screen off Headset long press to skip function. I am using Poweramp on my note 8 running OneUI Build DSC6 with April security patch. Yes, I did select Poweramp instead of Google Assistant, yet nothing happens. The version before worked just fine Kind regards
  3. Hello, it would be great to skip to the next/previous track by long pressing the Volume Up/Down Button! Cheers, Stefano
  4. I used to use Poweramp on my rooted Motorola E2 and I could switch between tracks by long pressing the volume buttons. But now I have a new device, Motorola G5S Plus (not rooted) and that feature does not seem to work in this device. Is there any setting in Poweramp which I need to change?
  5. When playing any set of songs, there should be an option to skip an specific song from being played. This "skip" feature could be right after "queue" within the three-dots menu, and it could have the following options: Skip once Skip for 24 hours Always skip (if in a playlist, suggest to remove the song from the playlist) This feature could also include skipping playlists or albums from being played when in any option of Shuffle mode.
  6. Hi. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which has just updated to build N9005XXUGBOI2. The button on the wired headset used to goto pre/next track but now it only controls the volume. Is anyone else having the problem? I'm using Poweramp build 581. Thanks .
  7. My apologies if this has been covered. To stop the stuttering issue via Bluetooth with Kit Kat, go to settings-misc-tweaks-and check keep service. The two tweeks in the faq did not work for me but this did. You should be able to play over Bluetooth stutter free with the screen either on or off after this adjustment.
  8. The skipping when playing audio tracks and the distortion (a "screeching" sound remotely similar to what happens to speaker phones when a mobile phone is placed next to them) that others have reported in other threads was getting too bad for me so this is a sad day - I decided to de-install Poweramp. This problem was spoiling all the fun because at some point, you start to wait (and dread) the next audio problem instead of listening to what is going on in the music. So for the time being, no more Poweramp for me. This is a real pity because: - The sound quality itself (minus the skipping and distortion) was excellent - I am going to miss it. - I am not sure there is another player out there with replaygain support. This was the main reason for me to choose Poweramp. I love listening to music in shuffle mode, but I cannot stand the constant changes in volume. I am now back to using the stock player in ICS, listening to albums instead of all tracks in shuffle mode (so I don't have to adjust the volume with every song). I may choose another player with a bit more eye candy and better lockscreen support, but there is no real point in doing that without replaygain support. I am hoping this bug - which seems to affect some devices running ICS or higher, according to other threads - can be solved soon so I can go back to using Poweramp. My phone is an LG L7, running ICS with all updates provided by LG.
  9. Folks; just a short question as I am evaluating Poweramp to replace the stock music player on my Xperia WT19i, mainly lacking a faciliity to skip tracks in locked mode without having to operate the touch display. Played with the headphone key settings in Poweramp, activated most of the "headphone keys" related items but somehow it doesn't seem to do as I want, still operating headphone keys just affects playback volume. So to ask: Does anyone know whether this feature works with the volume keys on the WT19i? TIA and all the best, Kristian
