Hi I'm using the paid of version of Poweramp build 871 on my Fiio M9 (Fiio default music app is so slow). It's running android 7 and it's a extremely lightweight version of AOSP without the google play services.I had to display the visualizing seekbars because the 'dynamic range' of the sound was off near the end of the track. I had Poweramp on my phone before but i didn't experienced this issue. I think this may be due to either the screen resolution (480×800) or the dpi (set to 328). As an exemple, I circled the area where there's no music (very quiet piano playing)

I recently discovered Poweramp in Play Store and I bought the full version instantly. It's the most complete music player on Android, it has a lot of features and I like the UI design a lot. The only thing I miss is a more detailed waveform Seekbar in order to differentiate parts of a song clearly, like in my previous player Mezzo. It would be nice to have it as an option in the Seekbar Style section, for example waveform HD, so anyone can choose.

Ok I'll go straight to the point. I'm facing this bug since V2 and it continues to pop-up on V3 beta. This barely happens, but the seek bar goes out of sync with the actual playback time. It happens on mp3 files only. Even if you slide the bar, the player may start from the beginning while the seekbar doesn't reset and continues from the moment you chose to play.

Basically it scans the song, downmixes to mono and shows the waveform as the seekbar, allowing you to go the exact point of a song you like instead of a time based number Foobar is player (on PC) i use that has this feature, AFAIK no android app does heres a pic http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr356/fireslug123/foobarmockup.png or just google image search it for more pics soundcloud.com uses these albeit bar shaped
