  1. Paid user new to Poweramp as of a few weeks ago, coming over from Rocket Player. Added a few albums today, Download Album Art is enabled. 2/5 albums don't show art, but only in the Artists view. Yet the album art is showing in all other views. Rescan didn't help. What am I doing wrong, or not doing?? PS and if it matters: all my music is ripped from my CD collection using fre:ac. All of my legacy art was manually downloaded. I don't know if Poweramp picked up its art from that folder or downloaded it from the internet.
  2. Can't choose any subfolder on the library. If I choose the whole root, the app finds nothing Two "paths" to the same physical SD card are shown, somewhy Even if I move all the songs to the internal SD, the app can't find none If I navigate to ANY song using a file explorer, I can play the song as normal on Poweramp The SD has been formatted recently as FAT32 Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app Sony Xperia Z3 Official ROM, Android 6.0.1, rooted and xposed
  3. I figured out, that beyond a certain folder size, Poweramp cannot detect the music files. Resulting in incomplete library, with many songs missing. (The Search function was malfunctioning too.) The maximum folder size seems to be somewher between 17GB and 41GB. I had this problem with a 41GB music folder on SD memory card. In the 41GB folder, the files were organized in subfolders by artist. So the subfolders were not so big, but still caused problem. I managed to solve all problems, when i split this big folder into 3 smaller folders, and put them into the root directory of the SD card.
  4. After several new installations Poweramp didn't find any file.
  5. Any time my device tries to scan a new SD card, it keeps popping up that there were "too many failed files" and that "playing will stop now" which is very frustrating. Play Music can play all my files, but not Poweramp. Any suggestions on what I can try? Also, video files can be played on other players as well but it seem Poweramp just refuses to search. Any help that can be provided is greatly appreciated. EDIT: Android 7.0 - Nougat
  6. Hello everyone I am a big fan if Poweramp, but as of recently, my app has not been able to find music that has been on my phone for quite a while. Nothing that I can think of has changed and I missing quite a significant chunk of music. I have uninstalled, redownloaded, rescanned, full rescanned, checked folders and still nothing. I was sitting around 1600 songs, but now I am only down to 685. Sometimes I can fix it for a couple of seconds only for it to lose them all over again. I am at a loss and was wondering if anyone had any solutions? Phone is a Galaxy S7
  7. Hello, I need a little help. I bought a 64 GB card for my mobile phone, filled it with lots of music and want to create my playlist and so on. I started to scan but Poweramp is quiet not sure how many folders with music they are, with every rescan the number of folders is changing. I tried with another app, this app told me there are 787 Folder , Poweramp change it by every rescan. To make sure that is not a difference in the folder display, I also compared the number of tracks.Poweramp is showing less (between 5000 and 7000) than d
  8. I installed the trial version of Poweramp about 4 hours ago. I keep all my music on the microSD card in my Sam Galaxy Note 2. I went into "Folders and Libraries" and checked the "Music" folder on the microSD. The scan began but has been sitting at less than 1/4 complete for the past 4 hours. Meanwhile when I go to the Music Folder in the main app it will show all of the albums installed on the phone. But if I pick one and drill down to look at the individual tunes I see "0 items" and there are tunes listed. Much the same thing happens when I go to "Library". If I go to "All Songs", I
  9. I have a problem with the scan folders and I am trying to remove everything from the library but it's not possible. How can we erase the library? Thanks,
  10. Is there any way to keep Poweramp from scanning hidden folders, ie. ".folder" ? My media is synced using iSyncr and it puts all media in one folder and then in subfolder by artist. I would like to hide my audio podcast directories from the automatic scan. I know I can just move them out but it defeats the purpose of using isyncr to sync back and forth into and out of itunes. I can't use no system scan for folders as I only have one directory marked for scanning. I would have to mark each individual folder for scan (hundreds of them) and just skip the five or six that i need to have the system
