I have Poweramp on a Samsung Galaxy S9 phone, and I use it to send digital signal out to various external DACs via usb otg cable. I just discovered the Audio Info screen for the first time (after using Poweramp for literally years), and was surprised to see that my 16 / 44.1 files are being upsampled to 48kHz. I found the Resampler in audio settings but it only gives the choice between SW snd SoX resamplers -- no option to disable. Is there no way to disable resampling?
Is their available to add an option like "auto sample rate"?The option means auto select sample rate based on audio file's sample rate. This option can avoid sample rate convert and close the resampler to improve sound quality.
Can someone tell me what "resampler cutoff frequency ration" is and what it does? I've seen people recommending 95% and 97-99% but why and which one to choose? And what's the difference between each dithering options?
Hey guys, big fan of Poweramp alpha here, so i think i just found a problem, my dsd/dsf collection sample rate is over 192khz (power amp maximum option). i got a song that its rate is 5644khz, so any way to turn off Poweramp resampler? Im kinda new in this stuff, but i can hear the difference between 44.1khz and 192khz. my dap is galaxy s7 edge exynos ver. Thank you !
