  1. Since I've started to switch using Poweramp, I've encountered a bothering issue that causes artwork to be heavily scaled down by a half of what the original artwork size was supposed to be, I didn't mind it at first. Until there are a couple of quality artworks that can toned down because of it. I've been trying to reach out other users in different online platforms but their response is almost always turn off your battery saver or it's an app issue that doesn't get fixed. I hope it gets a solution. I'm currently using an Asus Zenfone 4 Max on an Android 8.1 OS.
  2. Hello, i recently downloaded and bought the application. Coming from other audio players, i was wondering if you could please add the following features: - DSD - 2 Passes (as in VLC) - 32 bits support for Hi-Res audio - pitch control - current playlist, playback stop and A-B repetition (as in jetAudio) - playlist import - lyrics editing and writing. Sincerely yours
  3. PLEASE BRING BACK THE PER SONG EQ PRESET ASSIGNMENTS. I don't understand for the life of me, why this feature was removed from the latest beta build 792 (793 on Playstore). This is a deal breaker for me, as I have many EQ presets custom tailored to different songs to which they (and some similar songs) are assigned to. I can imagine for somebody that has many different genres in their library, this could be very frustrating. I don't want to have to take my phone out, unlock it and scroll through EQ presets every 3 - 5min. Currently I'm using alpha version 709 and was excited to see an update avaliable for beta, given the reduced functionality of the previous beta version. Only to be disappointed a vital fuction was removed. I don't understand its removal, I never found it to be in the way or clutter up the app in any way. It greatly improves the way I experience my music, and is one of the things I used to mention when suggesting the app to friends. So, PLEASE BRING IT BACK.
  4. Audio Quality such as shown in the now playing section could be shown in the Library / List section for easily sorting library. such as flac 16-bit 37mB This would really help in situation where there are duplicates of different qualities and selecting the best quality without opening info everytime.
  5. Hi! I'm new to here, and it's my first post. I've been using the current latest ARM version ( Poweramp-2.0.10-build-588-uni.apk ) for a long time now, and I'm loving the quality of it. Rich punchy bass and great overall quality of it. Today I just wanted to test the INTEL version (the tab has an INTEL chip set). So I uninstalled the ARM version and installed the INTEL version (Poweramp-2.0.10-build-860589-x86-uni.apk INTEL Build 589). I also did the purchase verification. When I start listening to music I immediately felt the quality loss. The bass was not that rich and punchy and the overall quality was not there compared to the ARM version. I also notice that with the ARM version there is quite a large power consumption vs the low power consumption in the INTEL version. Could you please let me know the reasons for this, has the power saving compromised the quality in the INTEL version? Please let me know whatever the log files you need and how to get them. I'll post them. Thanks and Regards.
  6. Good Morning Poweramp users, Today I have a quick quality test review for you. The kind folks at Underwater Audio sent us a copy of their many waterproof headphones for us to experience and give you guys an honest review. I used these headphones for over two weeks while traveling, swimming, and jumping into waterfalls and I must tell you, they truly are waterproof. When it came to experiencing the real Poweramp quality, these headphones were able to reproduce the highs and lows accurately. They sounded fantastic underwater, and while it does not have overly strong bass as I am used to, I would very much recommend these for active people. If there is a device you would like for us to test and give you an honest review about, reply below.
  7. Hello Poweramp team! My tracks are tagged with an image which it's size is higher than 5MB and Poweramp doesn't show that there's a picture tagged in. Poweramp can't show album arts which their size is higher than 5MB. Can you make the app support album arts higher than 5MB? I'm using HTC One (M8) and I've purchased the app.
  8. http://imgur.com/UogvCF9 It would be really appreciated if we could make the album art fit to our lockscreen. Or maybe an square option for the top of the screen, having the bottom part covered by the keyboard? Otherwise password users only get to see a blurry cut-out.
  9. Hello I have been using Poweramp music player on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) for over a year now. Started with trial versions, then finally bought it as it was way better than my stock player, it was perfect . I was using android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean then. Recently I've received an update for my Note 2, from 4.1.2 to 4.3 JB and the stock music player was also updated. So, I tried to compare the stock player with Poweramp and surprisingly now the stock player has more punch in sound quality than my Poweramp, I tried over different tests and seems that stock player really got better . Those who want to try this, try using "Rock" equalizer preset on both players, normal tone settings, bass/treble normal; as stock player don't have these options. Now, try with different songs and see the difference. So, how can I make Poweramp to the same level as the stock player now?..in terms of the punch of sound from the stock player. Thanks
  10. Hello everyone, this is my first time posting here. (Yes, I have shamelessy created an account specifically to create this thread.) Well, first off, I do not know if this thread is in the right section, but if it isn't, can someone direct me to the correct forum section? Second, I do not know if this has already been asked before, hence I apologise in advance if I am rehashing the same question again. (I have tried to google for this issue, but it seems as though no one has actually made this request... so yeah.) Alright, now that's aside, my request is... ...is it possible to implement a custom internal album art scaling feature? To my knowledge, Poweramp apparently internally scales album art pictures to a resolution of 512 x 512. Phones these days are sporting average resolutions of 1280 x 720, and I feel as though the old preset scaling is no longer sufficient enough to properly display album art images sharply on modern devices. Ah yes, for the record, my album art images, to begin with are on average, 1280 x 1280. I use a Galaxy Note GT-7000. The post in which I obtained my information from: http://forum.powerampapp.com/index.php?/topic/1978-album-art/ The quote: I hope that this feature isn't too hard to implement (or is it even possible?) Can it even be considered, actually? In anycase, sorry for this excessively long post, and thank you for reading.
  11. Hello! I'm quite a noob when it comes to programming or sound engineering, but I have a question I would like someone to explain to me as simple as possible. It just blows my mind how Poweramp dominates other music players on the market with its sound quality so I was wondering how is it possible. I've tried dozen players, both on headphones and speakers, and none of them has the sound quite as rich and colorful, so to say. I know a lot of quality is lost in compression of mp3 and whatnot, but exactly the same file in Poweramp just sounds million times better than in other players. Could somebody (preferably the developer, hehe) discover the secret in layman's terms? Thanks for the answer in advance!
