  1. Dear Poweramp, one of the best improvments that I've seen you implement is the fact that certain EQ presets can be applied to specific devices, which is pretty handy for people who play music via Poweramp through more than 1 source (bluetooth speaker, wired earphones, car audio system etc.). One thing that's missing though is to implement an action for activating MusicFX with specific bluetooth devices. I'm using James DSP manager for my galaxy buds to use a parametic eq, which is activated via the MusicFX button in Poweramp, but I don't need MusicFX for my car audio system or my bluetoot
  2. Hello, i recently downloaded and bought the application. Coming from other audio players, i was wondering if you could please add the following features: - DSD - bit perfect output - 2 Passes (as in VLC) - 32 bits support for Hi-Res audio - pitch control - current playlist, playback stop and A-B repetition (as in jetAudio) - playlist import - lyrics editing and writing. Sincerely yours
  3. I know there are other people posting about this issue but whenever I choose the sample rate to be anything above 192kHz it drastically lowers the volume. This never happened to me before I received the pie update. Is this an issue with my phone or does Poweramp need to come out with an update to fix this issue? So I'm not messing around with all my settings you know lol. Figured I'd ask everybody else. Thanks in advance
  4. When Hi-res output fails, it switches to the default output and needs to be toggled again through the settings. If possible I would like a quick button to toggle it back on, or even better a setting to always toggle back the output when it fails. Thanks!
  5. Almost 3 years (!) ago you asked me to send the details of my Pioneer XDP-100R, so that HiRes output could be facilitated on it. I have waited for the arrival of Version 3 of your software. I had expected it would finally make it possible. But no. I still get the message FAILED: Hi-Res OUTPUT. Every single time I start Poweramp. I am using build 816. Meanwhile I downloaded USB Audio Player PRO. While it lacks many elements of Poweramp, it does provide HiRes output for my DAP. The same goes for the app that came with the DAP. But sofar I prefer using
  6. (Sorry for a topic in wrong place but i can’t change it😭) I have used Poweramp for about 2 yrs now and I really love the sound of it. Recently I came across a music app called Neutron Music Player and it provide an option to enable “Follow source frequency” . I find this option useful cuz I have many audio tracks which differ in dit depth and sample rate (16/44100 24/48000 24/96000 1/5644000) Except for the dsd file, I wonder if we can have this option in Poweramp, too.For a long time the sample rate in Poweramp’s Open SL ES Hi-res output has been updated to up to 192khz+.
  7. Greetings, I have been using Poweramp as my only mean of listening to music for almost 5 years now! That being said, after the Poweramp v3 704, and when playing music through the Hi-Res Output (Experimental) option (at 192K), there is a massive and nasty distortion in the sound, especially while using the pre-amp. It exists even after disabling the pre-amp, and it's annoying. Note, that this distortion does NOT exist on any v3 version from 704 and lower. I can pump up the pre-amp to maximum, with 0 noticeable distortion. I use the Hi-Res Output since have a relatively high-qual
  8. I think when i lower the sound the output starts bursting REC20181104104314.mp3
  9. Music always stop at the end at hi res output, build 799
  10. Compared with 7.9.0, when nex s use OpenGL hires output ,the output or volume will become small ,Roughly 20% less .I must use 47% volume at least ,but I just use 27% before. This had a big impact on my use of high impedance headphones,I hope this problem can be fixed as soon as possible.
  11. When I get system notifications while using Poweramp, the audio stutters and stops playing over the Bluetooth earphones for some time. Also when I play a media from Instagram/Youtube or any other app while Poweramp is playing, the audio stops and I hear a strange sound from my bt earphones.Sometimes I have to reboot the phone to fix the audio output. I have a OnePlus 6 running Android 9.0 Open Beta 3. OnePlus Wireless Bullets. Poweramp version: rc-797-play I'm attaching a logcat :https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_Zu9WLtX4JArNRlwgP__lraLp7nIoThH/v
  12. Is their available to add an option like "auto sample rate"?The option means auto select sample rate based on audio file's sample rate. This option can avoid sample rate convert and close the resampler to improve sound quality.
  13. Now I'm using Poweramp V3 with aptx-HD(Bluetooth) output like below. "Smartphone (aptx-HD is activated) -> Astell&Kern AK XB10 aptx-HD Receiver -> AUX -> Car (Audi A6)" But I cannot understand how to set HI-res output setting in my case. Setting -> Audio Engine -> Output -> Hi-Res Output (Experimental) and then there is only two kinds output option (Wired Headset/AUX and USB DAC) and I cannot find Bluetooth option. Please let me know how can I use Hi-Res Output through aptx-HD(Bluetooth)
  14. Hello Poweramp community, I just wanted to report a bug that occurs a few times per week, while Poweramp is used everyday for hours. I have a Galaxy S6, it supports the Hi-Res Output, so I don't have to use the OpenSL EL Output, which is indeed worse than the Hi-Res Output. The bug is that sometimes when my headphones are plugged in, the music still is being played out of the speakers of the phone though the device treats the music/volume as if the headphones are plugged in as usual (tested with 4 different ones). The only way to remove the problem temporarily (it lasts a few da
  15. I recently switched to the AXON 7 MINI and the output is apparently 32 bit with 192 khz "Headphone Jack: 3.5 mm Hi Fidelity Sound Performance: Yes Speakers: Yes, dual speaker support Base support material: N-base material PlayBack Sound Playback Codecs: Dolby Atmos® Sampling Frequency: 192 kHz THD+N: -106 dB S/N: 120 dB Recording Channel: 2 channel (hi-fi), 1 channel (VAD) Resolution: 32 bit Sampling Frequency: 192 kHz MIC max input: 2.8 Vpp S/N ADC: 102 dB Conference Mode Directional Recording: Dimensional and Omni Directional Recording Range: Up to 8 meters (approximately 26 fee
  16. My phone is16bit with a 96khz output but when I hook up the aux it changes to 48khz and when I change to Bluetooth it lowers even more to 44.1khz. I notice when I goto hi res output that 24bit users can change the khz to their liking but not us 16bit users and if you can I can't find it. I don't know much about audio related stuff but why can't I do this? It would be great if there was a option where I can use 16 bit and change the khz to my liking o.O I've been using this for atleast 3 years now can I get some help?
  17. Does Poweramp V3 support the LDAC Bluetooth codec?
  18. So, in my audio class, i'm learning that most modern recording is done in 88.2kHz, or 176.4kHz. These are multiples of 44.1kHz, and thus cross-sampling will not occur when exporting to red-book cd format. Even on a 192kHz DAC, cross-sampling still occurs with 44.1, 88.2 and 176.4 files because 192kHz is not in the red-book cd family of sample rates (multiples of 44.1kHz). I'm almost positive that most of the recent DACs (external, and built in) out there are capable of supporting these sample rates.
