When I go to view the folders, it seems to show me literally every folder scanned by Poweramp. However, I only want the top level folders shown. For example, I have folder_artist1 as a folder and folder_artist2 as another folder. Inside folder_artist1, I have several folders such as folder_albums, folder_singles, folder_live, etc. For folder_artist2, I have something similar. When I go to view the folders, I only want to see folder_artist1 and folder_artist2--I don't want to see a bunch of subfolders listed alongside these two "root" level folders.
I, like many users it seems, organize my music library through folders. My primary desktop music player/organizer, MediaMonkey, has an excellent feature where you can display all the songs contained below a folder, even if those songs are not directly contained in that folder. For example: My first folder level is sorted by gene, and after that by artist, after that by album. I would like to be able to play all the songs in my electronic genre folder, (not possible by using the library genre sort, as I have 20+ subgenre's of electronic music) instead of only being able to play one album at a time. Similarly, I would like to be able to play all the songs under an artist's folder, or any other folder that I wish, that may contain multiple subfolders. I have been a Poweramp user since I got my first android device 4 years ago. I hope others will find this as useful as I do, and that it adds value to an already outstanding product.
