Hi Observed the following issues on Nougat. 1. Alpha build 703 downloaded from playstore does not have Experimental Hi Res Output option in Nougat. I am using Mi Max with Snapdragon 24 bit PCM. When the device was on Marshmallow I could use the Hi Res Output option with the alpha version downloaded from playstore. Recently the device is updated to Nougat, after which the Hi Res Output option disappeared. Same is the case with my LG G6 (comes with Nougat). When I downloaded the alpha build from Playstore, I could not see the Hi Res output option. 2. Alpha build 704, downloaded from Poweramp site. The Hi Res output option shows up on Nougat with this build. But with the headphone connected, if I try to enable the Hi Res output option error message shows up that Hi Res output failed and default output is active. Tried with tweaking the Poweramp, device security and device audio settings. But no luck. Please let me know if anyone else is also facing the same issue and is this issue particular to Nougat. Thanks, Pavan Kona
Is there an issue on Nougat or on Oxygen OS 4.0.3? Because most of the times I will plug in my headset into my OP3T's 3.5mm jack, the handset will recognize the headset but Poweramp will not resume my queue/playlist. Also, Poweramp will not pause playback when I unplug/disconnect my headset. Is there an issue with the Headset Micro Service on which Poweramp relies for this? Is it just me or is anyone else experiencing this issue as well? Any workaround to this, does Max know about this?
OK, so: anyone had success getting Poweramp to work on a Pixel Phone? I've managed to get everything transferred to it, and it MOSTLY works, but my playlist M3U files are showing as having zero songs listed in them. I've tried rewriting them with different file paths (never needed to before but figured it was worth a shot), and still nothing. I've also spoken to some incredibly unhelpful "support" people at Google, who claim that M3Us won't work on a Pixel phone, at all ... and when I ask if that's actually Pixel or ANY phone on Nougat get an answer that usually sounds like they are saying Pixel. Anyone? Ideas? HELLLLP!
I would like to request Android 7.1 Quick-cuts support for Poweramp for quick access to a playlist,pause/resume playing song and anything that is found important by the developer.
