When using a null character for tagging multiple artists in MP3 files, the artists are not split as they should be. I do this by typing "\\" in the mp3tag program, which according to them inputs a null character as required by the ID3v2.4 specs for multiple artists although this is informally applied to ID3v2.3 as well. Splitting multiple artists works perfectly for FLAC files using this method. For MP3 files, using characters like ";" or "/" and defining them as a symbol to split artists in Poweramp works as well. The only thing that doesn't work is using null characters in MP3 files. I believe this to be classified as a bug since the null character is what is specified for multiple artists in the ID3 specs and it is not working in Poweramp. I am hoping to see this bug fixed because I believe Poweramp is the best music player on Android, and the dev seems quite active responding to bugs and feature requests. Poweramp build: 933 Device: Samsung Galaxy S8 Android version: 9 Steps to reproduce: Use null characters as delimiters for multiple artists in tags for MP3 files

Option to hide ".mp3" from the end of titles
Collcroc123 posted a topic in Poweramp Feature Requests
I have hundreds of songs downloaded to Poweramp, but a majority of them do not have an official "title", just the mp3 file's name. The problem is that Poweramp still shows the ".mp3" at the end. It would be nice if there was a setting where the app just checks if a title has ".mp3" in it and automatically remove it. You could even include a kind of whitelist in case a song's title is actually supposed to have ".mp3" in it. -
Hi, this new version as well as several of the other releases no longer detect all my music files. They're all in 1 folder. It's only showing 1552 of 2100 on the SD card. Have tried different cards also. This has been an issue on phone and tablet with the last 6 or so alpha/beta releases. Any ideas why? All are mp3 and correctly tagged. edit......when reinstalling older version it finds all music, then when updating to newest release all the music will show but then go back to the 1552 after a short while.

Poweramp has such a great engine to search/generate album art. I also use "album art downloader (pc) and Poweramp is more accurate with minimal effort. I would love to see an option to embed the found/selected jpg's directly in the mp3 files if the user wishes to do so (with an overwrite option). Currently doing it through hoops, loops , scripts and mp3tag. This would be easier and more reliable, especially when changing one album art/file on the go. Fingers crossed 🤞. Thanks
