Hello everyone. I've purchased Poweramp awhile back and have used it with no issues on my Galaxy S9 along with my Tempotec Sonata HD Pro DAC capable of 384kHz/32bit output. On the S9 it would default to 192khz/24bit output with the Audiotrack output selected in the audio settings. I've purchased a new phone (Xiaomi Poco X3) running MIUI 12.0.2 Android Q. Upon installing Poweramp (v3, b884), the output of the USB DAC is limited to 48kHz/16bit on both OpenSL and Audiotrack. I could alter the sampling rate by enabling Hi-res output, but that introduces a lot of latency. On the S9 with Audiotrack output selected, the sampling rate was 192kHz with low latency of around 80ms compared to the Xiaomi hi-res output having 200ms with 96kHz selected. My questions are: 1) What could be causing this issue? My guess is the stock player interferes with Poweramp's direct access to USB audio. 2) Is there a difference in altering the sampling rate on Hi-res output vs allowing the native sampling rate of the device (192kHz/24bit) to be utilized when Audiotrack output is used? Thanks and hope you could help me out. Attached are screenshots of the issue in question. https://i.imgur.com/ctVfnEn.jpg
as the picture shows my device is xiaomi mix2s,performing on miui 188.8.131.52.0. now the problem is the volume would minimize itself when the DVC turning on together with HIRes output. In other word,to normalize the volume, between DVC and HiRes,only one of them could be turned on. I have not come across this situation ever before untile my devices update to the latest miui version.and the only way to rectify is to reboot the phone.but this methed just can maintain for the first use of Poweramp after reboot.it fail valid once you break off the music. hope to reach for your help, thanks!!
I have bought my redmi k20 pro recently. There's this new "hi-fi audio" switch under the "headphones and audio effects" page in settings which is new to me as I didn't have it in my older Redmi Note 3 pro or Redmi Note 4X. There are some issues when I turn on the switch: 1. DVC: on results in a lower volume. The DVC volume problem isn't a new thing, right? You can totally get what I mean; the volume drops low even when you turn it all the way up. Makes it useless when playing songs in a car/noisy places. 2. The Volume Knob isn't in sync with the actual volume level. Don't know how to put this. %100 volume on system equals to %60 volume on Poweramp. 61-100 volume on the knob doesn't make any change. Changes only appear in 0-60. These are the stuff I found. There might be some other problems that I don't know. I'll include the output detection log. Using MIUI 10.3.16 china stable. New file.txt
