After updating my phone(XT890) to kitkat I haven't been able to skip track using the volume keys. I've tried using an app which recreates this feature but it's somewhat buggy. I've tried all options (Single, double and long press) but none of these seem to make any difference. Any responses would be fantastic.

My phone recently updated from Android 4.2.2 to 4.4.2. Since the update, the track numbers have not properly displayed via Bluetooth. Previously, the track number would display as "1", "2", "3", etc. Now they display as "1001", "1002", "1003", etc. If the song is from Disc 2 of a 2-disc set, they display as "2001", "2002", etc. It appears as if the track number is now being displayed as [Disc][Track-zero-padded-to-three]. The girl of my dreams who I had a huge crush on was there. Now I being known for my sophisticated and ultracool musical tastes was asked by the host if I would play some tunes through the sound system of the party. Naturally I was delight

I have an LG Nexus 4, Android version 4.4.4, not rooted. I've noticed that when I pause, change songs, or the song transitions to the next one while the screen is off, as the song fades/cuts, I can hear this annoying static sound in my earphones which eventually disappears. I tried pausing and changing songs while screen is on and I didn't encounter any of that annoying sound. Recreated the scenario in my stock music player (Google Play Music) and I didn't encounter it as well. Used my earphones on another device (not 4.4.4 though) and static is not present. Setting the audio buffer si
