On Androids 10+ system dialog is used when ENABLE or CHANGE button is pressed for folders selection and permissions. That system dialog can be previously disabled by user or can be missing from some ROMs completely. Please ensure, that following system app exists and is not disabled on your device (you may need to select some option to show all apps / system apps): Files (com.google.android.documentsui) You can also restore that system dialog functionality by installing Files by Google app from Play (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.nbu.files&hl=en) Package Disabler (and similar apps): If you're using Package Disabler or similar app, ensure critical system components (which disabler apps may mistakenly marks as "bloatware") are NOT disabled: External Storage (com.android.externalstorage) Files (com.google.android.documentsui) Media Storage (com.android.providers.media) Permission controller (com.google android.permissioncontroller) If system dialog can't be restored due to any reason, you can use Settings / Misc / File Access Legacy Mode.
Hello, I have had a problem with the playlists, I have been modifying some folders and organizing my music in the internal memory of my phone, I have several playlists and this has happened to me: 1) I have moved some songs from one folder to another, these songs that were in one of the playlists gave error, perform scanning and even the problem persisted, I had to delete them from the list and add them again 2) I have a playlist of a specific folder, to this folder I changed the name because I wanted to add another type of music, when I changed the name the entire playlist gave error and all the songs were damaged, I made the scan and try to repair the list and did not happen, I play it to erase the whole list and make it again (in this case it was not so much trouble because it was a folder itself, make the list was not so difficult, but should not happen) the playlists that I currently have are from specific folders, but if I make a list with songs from different folders and modify or rearrange any of these folders in my internal storage, the playlists will be damaged and when pressing "rescan / repair playlists" does not place them in their new (or renamed) destination. I do not know if there is a specific option that I have not seen so that this does not happen, the folder where I have all the music (where there are more folders inside) I already have it selected.
I have 2 folders with several sub-folders in each. I want to shuffle all the songs in one or the other folder. I select "Folders Hierarchy" and then the top level folder and select "shuffle". If I select "next" it always goes to the first song. Pressing "next" goes to the next song in order - nothing is shuffled. Is that by design? Also, it often plays the same song a second time (but not third) when hitting next even though I've performed a Full Rescan. Looking at the files within Poweramp and using my phone's Files app shows there there are no duplicates.
Poweramp is including a folder that begins with a dot in my music folder. When I go to the "select folders" menu to try to deselect it, the folder doesn't appear in the selection area, even though every other folder appears. The folder does appear in both "Folders" and "Folder Hierarchy" views.
