  1. Hi! First of all great app! I would like to be able to choose which kind of files are played. For example it does not make sense if Poweramp plays a video mp4 (just the sound). In this case it would be cool to turn off mp4 as a file extention in settings. What do you think? cheers,
  2. I have a lot of lower quality audio files (.MP3) saved into playlists and recently begun downloading higher quality versions (.FLAC). It's my understanding that playlists are save entries as the file's directory. Example (2 entries): /storage/3234-6463/Music/Kanye West - The Life Of Pablo/17 Facts (Charlie Heat Version).mp3 /storage/3234-6463/DatPiff/mixtapes/m6eaa8aa/11773275.mp3 What I was hoping for was a way to change the first playlist entry to a different file: /storage/3234-6463/Music/Kanye West - The Life Of Pablo [Flac]/Kanye West - The Life Of Pablo/18 Facts (Charlie Heat Version).flac And to do that to all my playlists automatically as it would take me forever to do it myself (I have 877 playlists). Usually I'd just rename the better quality file as the exact same as my lower quality version and replace the low quality file, and adjust the metadata if necessary (album artist, etc.) to avoid fixing playlists. But I can't do that if the file extension is different. Thank you.
  3. I'm sorry if this bug was here already. So, I not see in library some of music files which must to be there. But in file manager I can see them and can play through Poweramp v3. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, screenshot of system version in folder below You can see screenshots by URL right here. As you see, in file manager show 15 files, but Poweramp show only 9. I hope this information will be useful.
  4. I lost my downloaded album art and edited info/tag of files every time I reinstall Poweramp. Please add an option to embed the edited info/tag and downloaded album art to the music file itself.
  5. I think a great product should listen to the needs of customers, and the function should not difficult. I have paid on google play, but I do not want to pay for player without lyrics in site again.
  6. I can't edit tags any more.. It just crashes my music files. I tried multiple files and all became corrupted !!!!! Help pls.. Version 2.0.10-build-588-play (Full Version) Samsung Galaxy S4 - GT-I9500 Android 5.0.1 No Custom Rom Can't run CatLog because my device is not rooted..

  8. I don't know, am I taking about a bug at all, but here I go... Poweramp info: 2.0.10-build-575-play Device model: Google Nexus 5 Android version: 5.1 No idea of a custom Rom, just read about what it means. --- Because of reasons in ripping Audiobook parts (file naming system), I have all my parts within an Audiobook named by a number in front of the book's name. Since every track is only few minutes in length, I have easily 100-400 parts within one book. My problem is the following: My files are named "Number - Audiobook's name", and Poweramp fails to order the listing correctly, because my numbers go from 01 to 100+. Instead of the app listing them like 09, 10, 11... and continuing like that (this is how I want it), the app lists them like 09, 10, 100...109, 11, 110 etc. I have gone through the folder and file options and read few forum articles which were close to my problem, but I haven't yet found a way to make this "right" I haven't been messing at all with filters and shuffle options. Is there a way to set this right or am I forced to rename the beginning files from 01 to 001 and so on?
  9. After syncing songs from my laptop, many songs are randomly disappearing from my Poweramp library. I've tried reloading multiple times but songs are still disappearing. The song files still appear in the Google Play Music app so I know they've been successfully loaded on the Sandisk micro SD my Samsung Galaxy S5. Is anyone else having this issue? If so, were you able to correct this?
  10. Hello, I've recently switched to Nexus 5 and there is one pesky bug, that kills my joy of using this phone. There is a bug in Android: https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=38282 When I delete files from Poweramp I can still see the files over MTP connection in my computer (until I restart my phone). Because I often upload and delete music in my phone I prefer not to restart my phone every time. Perhaps Poweramp could use one of those workarounds proposed to properly synchronize media library? Regards
  11. Hi. I'm new here. Can you make M4C audio file support???
  12. Thank you for a great product. But I have a feature request. I use MediaMonkey as my music manager, and use it to sync my music to my Android phone. And I love using Poweramp, but I don't like that there is no way for my play count to be synced back to my MediaMonkey database. That is, I would love for MediaMonkey to reflect a play for songs that I listen to with Poweramp, after I sync it back to my MediaMonkey. The beauty of MediaMonkey is the ability to customize it with scripts. There is one MM user that has written a script that will update the playcount for songs played on the Android after syncing it with MM. All that is needed is for the Android music player to generate a file that contains play count, album, artist, title, etc. He wrote the script to work with the Android player called PlayerPro since they have that feature built in. Is there anyway that Poweramp can implement this feature? I would be very appreciative! Here is a link to the MediaMonkey forum for the script that does this: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=59888#p308062 And here is a link to PlayerPro: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.tbig.playerpro&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS50YmlnLnBsYXllcnBybyJd Please let me know if I can do anything to help. Thank you again for a great app!
