Hi Sorry in advance if I am posting this in the wrong forum section. I am using a Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie with Poweramp music player. And my brother gave me his Samsung AKG earbuds. The problem I have is that the volume button +, the + button puts the volume lower. Anyone know how to fix this? (I did read somewhere that it could be the earbuds jack or phone port. But I am just double checking on here)

2 weeks ago my pixel 3 was playing my playlist fine through my wired earbuds. In the last 2 weeks, I've been playing through the car Bluetooth and I've had weird problems with settings being changed randomly. Now, I plugged in my earbuds and the phone is playing my music out loud. I'm frustrated because that is useless to me since the other people on my flight probably don't want to listen to my audible book! Any ideas would be appreciated.
