I'm considering buying this app as I find it to be the perfect music player for Android but I found that it fails to play AC3 or EAC3 encoded 5.1 music that I have in my library. So far I've used MX Player to play those which uses HW decoding route which basically offloads the decoding to the OMX.dolby.eac3_joc.decoder present in my phone (Samsung A71). Hi, I want to know how dolby atmos works with hi-res audio. I am using a samsung A30 which has dolby atmos and UHQA PCM(24bit-192khz) for audio. When im using Poweramp hi-res output with music fx on I cannot exactly say that Im experiencing dolby atmos besides high fidelity sound and its sounds too far from good. Please give an idea to me about how this works. Thank you.
When the MusicFX button is enabled in advanced tweeks, and you go to the volume control panel and toggle MusicFX Poweramp will use an external equaliser e.g. Dolby Atmos, to enhance sound output. On my phone, however, the toggle switch function is swapped around so that, when DVC is disabled and MusicFX is enabled in settings, for me to use Dolby Atmos the MusicFX toggle needs to be set to off. And when it is set to on, Dolby is disabled and Poweramp uses its own settings instead. Does anyone else experience this issue?
After turning on Poweramp automatically turn off the built- in Dolby Sound System in Lenovo Tablet A8-50. The sound is flat and does not help the equalizer adjustment .Other sources of sound work correctly with Dolby ( video player, youtube player, Is it possible to change the advanced settings Poweramp somehow to work with the built-in Dolby ?
