  1. Phone: HTC U12+ (Stock ROM) Android: 9 BT Headphones: Bang & Olufsen H9i with touch controls Hi guys, I've recently bought the B&O H9i headphones with touch controls and I've discovered that Poweramp is going a bit crazy when using the touch controls. As we will see a rise in touch controlled headphones soon I think it is viral that this issue is fixed. So the problem araises when I try to use the touch controls in anyway. You swipe backward or forward on the earcup to change the track, this works well in other music apps, but in Poweramp it changes the track and pauses the music, after the track change, I've experimented with different button responses in settings, but it only makes the problem worse. On single press setting it changes a track and pauses it. on the double/truple setting it skips 1,2 or 3 tracks and pauses it, same happens on long press setting, this makes using the touch controls unbearable. Also I have noticed that Poweramp goes crazy on its own without touching the touch controls when double/triple press setting is enabled, skipping tracks randomly pausing music, skipping tracks again. Please ask me for any more info if needed, hope this can be quickly resolved, as Poweramp is my most facourite app for years and the B&O Headphones are one of the best out there so they should be compatible with the app. I do not experiance similar issues with the n7 player or tidal. I would hate to have to swap to n7 its s%$t! xD Looking forward to your help Adi
  2. Hi everyone & devs, First post here, long time user and promoter of the paid version... I am having trouble with the Bluetooth control flexibility. I remember I used to be able to apply much more custom control assignments with a past version (I think but I may be mistaken). [As a note, when I say 'local', I mean device control that does NOT send info over BT/radio frames.] The issue is this; more than half of my Bluetooth speakers do not support the more complex control interfacing for scrubbing and track selection. I would like to be able to assign (at the absolute least) track skipping to a multi-press of the general 'Bluetooth button'. A specific exanple, this is an "app-breaking" thing with my little iHome Drop, where I can set the control int to either single short press(fast) or 2/3 presses for pause/play without trouble to pause/play (long press is not possible on this device as it puts the device into local pairing). I have three Bluetooth controls on this specific device; the BB as mentioned, a BT vol up and BT vol down (BT vol, NOT local device vol, works with call volume, shows on phone screen etc), so, for example, I could use a double press for the track change on those channels and it'd work fine. So I suppose I am asking for something like the old assignability options, or maybe something new instead. Before anyone bothers, please don't post about using a third perspective application to manipulate the controls on the phone. I'd really like to avoid kludgey "solutions" here. Thank you much, in advance! I have always enjoyed Poweramp and I'd like to KEEP enjoying it! -Alex
  3. Hi, nice to see you guys here. I would like to request something about audio output. So, I am running Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Stock Android, Flash Plus 2 device, MTK Helio P10 based phone. Here is the details http://www.flash3c.com/flash-plus-2/hi-fi/ It seems that my phone can not maximize the output on Hi-Res. Even it can not detect wired headset in Hi-Res output menu (showing only USB DAC). I knew that it still experimental but some MTK phone like redmi note 4 (if I am not mistaken) can do that. So, ya it support AudioTrack / OpenSL ES output that can only provides audio 16bit 44khz max although I have 24bit 192khz music. I want to get 24bit 192khz output with experimental Hi-Res like on redmi note 4. Could you make my device compatible with Hi-Res feature on Poweramp? That should be amazing. Thank you!
  4. Hi I purchased Poweramp and have used it fine (no issues at all) on my earlier car head unit (i.e. stereo/satnav/etc..) running Android 4.0.3. Now I have just bought a new car head unit and on getting to google play store, to try to get it installed on this new one - it says it is not compatible with this device! This one runs 4.2.2 Jelly bean. What can I do? Please help
  5. I've been using power amp since i switched to android and i love it. i just recently bought a samsung galaxy gear 1 and have been pretty frustrated with the stock media controller. it is VERY basic, with the ability to pause, play next track, previous track and adjust volume, which is fine. the problem is that it doesnt display track title, album cover, or any other pertinent information. there is another good Gear app that shows this stuff but for it to work it requires that i download some shitty music player that i can't disable. Is there a chance that you could develop a companion app for the samsung gear store (different from the play store, dedicated for the samsung smartwatch collection.) that will maybe mirror the information that i have on my main app (full version). or at least an independent media controller that doesn't require the app so more people could use it? i would 100% spend the money on it.
  6. Hello Poweramp I was just going to type this quick feature request as it is something that may be important to more people than just me. First I'd like to say that I had just recently bought Poweramp and that I really enjoy it so far. The interface is awesome, and the fact that you can search for album covers is cool too. However one really irritating (as in irritating to the ears) bug is that when ever I play songs with the beats audio eq that comes with my phone and most other HTC products it gets really, really distorted and I have to turn it off and listen to songs without it on, thus restricting me from the full capability of my phone. So I was just going to type this to ask if it was possible for you guys to integrate beats audio capability into the app in Tue next update potentially as it would make me really happy. Thank you.
